Functie
Lead the next stage of our accounting team's development by setting structured processes for accurate, compliant reporting. Collaborate with local teams to implement accounting standards, establish ERP systems, and ensure timely, reliable financial reporting (IFRS and GAAP). You'll define and apply strategies while actively participating in daily tasks. Preparing for the 2025 CSRD compliance deadline is also essential, including building strong internal controls.

- Develop and maintain the BauWatch Accounting Manual, ensuring compliance with IFRS and GAAP standards.
- Oversee monthly consolidation, review, and quality control for accurate reporting.
- Coordinate financial system setup, reporting tools, and year-end audit processes.
- Support finance teams in adhering to policies, internal controls, and company-wide objectives.
- Prepare and distribute periodic financial statements, driving process improvements across finance operations.
Profiel

We also think you need the following:
- Master's degree in Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in audit or accounting, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of finance processes and reporting guidelines including systems.
- Experience with (external) financial reporting and audit processes.
- Knowledge of IFRS.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written.
