We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Transformation Programme Senior Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

The Transformation team will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of the Global Insurance Finance transformation programme, driving modernisation, enhancing efficiency, and aligning the Finance function with the company's strategic goals and regulatory requirements.

The role holder would focus on driving key Transformation initiatives, including:
  • The redesign of finance processes and operating models to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Change management and communication, driving cultural change and delivering new enhancement initiatives
  • Programme governance that is in accordance with HSBC Change Framework, including standards, policies, and procedures
  • Transformation programme resourcing, hiring, budgeting, and 3rd party engagement
  • Programme planning, tracking, and progress updates
  • Partnering with key teams to integrate finance transformation initiatives into the broader business strategy
  • Technology integration for the function, including the selection and implementation of new financial systems and tools and seamless integration of technology solutions
  • Staying current with emerging trends and technologies and assess their potential impact on the finance functions
  • Escalation and management of programme risks and issues
  • Providing regular feedback, coaching and guidance
  • Nurturing strong internal and external networks to stay abreast of sector developments, trends and leading practices to continuously enhance GI Finance's transformation excellence
  • Driving the adoption of HSBC standards and working in alignment with HSBC methodology at all times
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in finance, with a strong background in Governance & framework standards / outputs within financial services, preferably life insurance and banking
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality output with buy-in from key stakeholders
  • Experience working with globally dispersed teams and stakeholders
  • Understanding of Insurance, products, IFRS17, and key frameworks (e.g., Risk-Based Capital) is valued
  • Knowledge and experience with change management is highly valued
  • Additional qualifications in Organisational Development, Business/ Digital Transformation, Project Management or Change Management would be an advantage
