Who we are looking for
Depositary Manager - responsible for managing Depositary team in a way to ensure timely & accurate process delivery in line with SLA. Supporting company strategy by developing team members competencies & work on process efficiency. Individual holding this role must have deep understanding of Regulated Funds lifecycle, regulations related to Depositary duties and great leadership skills.

Depositary is an EMEA specific regulatory function with fiduciary duty to the end investor.
European investment funds, whether UCITS or AIF, must appoint a Depositary in accordance with the UCITS and AIFM Directives. The Depositary is responsible for the safekeeping of the investment fund's assets and therefore ensures separation of those assets from the management of the fund. In addition, the depositary is required to perform oversight functions and, in this way, oversees certain activities of the fund manager such as valuation of the fund assets and monitoring of fund cash flows.

What you will be responsible for
- Organization of team workload, often in one month advance, plan & execute cross training plan to ensure required no. of people experienced in certain process
- Timely and accurate process delivery in line with SLA
- High quality of job aids and other supporting docs ensuring that any procedural inconsistencies or controls are clarified and unified across all NON-PERE Teams
- Work on process transformation together with Depositary Support Managers to execute EMEA Depositary Transformation goals and increase process efficiency. Seeking for standardization across all NON-PERE clients, discuss potential changes with Lux oversight management
- Monitor and work on increase employee's productivity
- Deliver regular trainings to increase employee competencies of depositary requirements and models established in Lux Depositary
- Set-up development goals for the individual team members
- Providing support in relation to new business onboarding and process transitions and perform post-transition analysis to identify process inefficiencies.
- Promoting risk culture environment & strengthening processes resiliency
- Delivery of variety internal reporting
- Executing depositary controls as part of BAU
- Active collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to address ongoing issues

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in investment funds operations
- Knowledge of UCITS & AIFM directive and its delegated measures
- Knowledge of CSSF Circulars 16/644 and 18/697
- Deep understanding of requirements of Depositary controls & connections with other business lines
- Project management skills would be an advantage
- Experienced in MS office package, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with PowerBi would be an advantage
