The Capital Markets & Execution Team is responsible for many of the market facing activities the Fund is involved in, including multi-asset class trading, exposure management, securities lending and the management of a derivatives based, optimization strategy.

In this new role will help the team with automating and upscaling models, infrastructure and dashboard development, and other research on various bespoke derivative based strategies across equities, volatility, credit, rates and FX. The role has considerable scope to grow and will reward a candidate with an inquisitive mind and strong work ethic with opportunities across trading, exposure management, securities lending, derivative strategies, fund protection strategies and hedging in general.

To be successful you will need;
  • Intermediate programming experience in Python, R, or Matlab essential. Experience with SQL, Azure, Databricks and GIT
  • Understanding of equity, fixed interest, and derivative instruments and/or experience with trading strategies will be highly regarded.
  • Experience (industry or academic) in applying quantitative techniques to critically analyse investment/derivative strategies.

Undergraduate/Postgraduate degree in finance/quantitative finance, computer science, mathematics or engineering highly regarded.
