Manager, Audit (Japanese Speaker) [Hong Kong]

Company OverviewOur client is a US based accounting advisory company with strong presence in APAC. Due to the growing business demand in their clients/ projects, especially in Japan, they are currently expanding the team. The role will be based in their Hong Kong office.

Responsibilities

• Audit financial statements and group reporting packages under various GAAPs, including HKFRS, IFRS, US GAAP, Japanese GAAP
• Conduct assurance engagements, including reviews, SOX engagements, and procedures for initial public offerings.
• Supervise engagement teams, complete performance reviews, and provide on-site training.
• Act as the audit in-charge, leading the team and maintaining communication with the line manager, partner, and clients.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in relevant subject
• Qualified accountant with 2+ years of audit experience, strong technical skills, and business proficiency in Japanese.
