**Position Overview:**
They are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Project Accountant to join their growing finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial aspects of various real estate projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, and providing valuable insights to support their investment strategies.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints
- Collaborate with project managers to track financial performance and identify variances
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes
- Manage accounts payable and receivable related to projects
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audits
- Provide support for investor reporting and stakeholder communications
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or CMA designation preferred
- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or investment management
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
