The Client

Our client is a large Investment management company. They are an entrepreneurial firm with exciting growth prospects.

The Role

The Regulatory Controller will take responsibility for all regulatory reporting, regularly communicating with the Head of External Reporting, the Financial Controller, the CFO and CEO and the major shareholders of the Investment Management firm.

The Regulatory Controller will confidently undertake Financial Regulatory Reporting including the preparation and submissions of FCA regulatory returns, regulatory capital guidance and Financial regulatory risk assessments, leading on the production of the ICARA under IFPR and its presentation to Investment Management business stakeholders.

The Regulatory Controller will model regulatory and liquid capital, wind-down scenarios and stress tests for regulated entities.

The Regulatory Controller will be a subject matter expert on all relevant regulatory rules, preparing and maintaining Cashflow reports, monthly shareholder reporting and monthly reporting of to major debt provider.

The Regulatory Controller ill provide a technical review of Annual Financial Statements for 8 corporate entities and the involvement in financial due diligence process and then integration of future acquisitions.

The Candidate

Strong experience of FCA Regulatory Reporting including ICARA preparation - ESSENTIAL

Financial Services business experience

IFRS and accounts preparation knowledge is preferred.

Tax knowledge would be as asset, including both LLP and Corporate.

IFPR reporting experience essential.

Proven ability to work independently, proactively managing and completing projects.

Attention to detail and accuracy of work.
