Major Duties :• Responsible for providing client service through the execution of daily functions and tasks
• Responsible for providing timely response to queries and finding resolution to avoid repetitive actions
• Works effectively both as a team member as well as an independent self-motivated individual
• Responsible for multiple projects of various complexities
• Serve as a super cover for the team
• Serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to junior level employees
• Able to identify opportunities for improvement within existing technology applications while acting as a liaison with Partner areas to drive resolution
• Build relationships with internal and client contacts
• Responsible for understanding client's business needs and deliverables
• Act as the escalation point of contact for client issues or inquiries
• Establish, build & maintain effective working relationships with key partners internal and external to the organization
• Drive the engagement of other partners as appropriate to solve client inquiries/issues
• Understand impact of personal job function(s) and applicable shared services partners
• Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems; analyzes information and standard practices to make judgments
• Has limited impact on own work team
• Works within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines
Knowledge :• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Able to prioritize and multi-task
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of financial services, asset management and/or investment operations
• Attention to details
• Works with a sense of urgency
• Requires conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within a job discipline
• Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience
• Exchanges straightforward information, asks questions and checks for understanding
Experience :• A college or university degree and/or 3+ years of relevant work experience
• Previous Financial Industry Operations, Asset Management, Client Servicing and/or Investment Operations experience a plus
• Previous exposure to business process and/or technology enhancement initiatives
• Previous Client Service experience in a service oriented environment
• Accountable for own contributions
