Key Responsibilities:

- Administer, configure, and maintain financial systems and software to ensure efficient operations.
- Collaborate with finance and IT teams to identify system requirements and implement enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to financial systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain financial dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities with actionable insights.
- Evaluate and optimize financial workflows, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency.
- Identify automation opportunities and support their implementation to reduce manual processes.
- Ensure alignment of financial systems with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure financial systems comply with relevant regulations (e.g., SOX, IFRS).
- Safeguard financial data by implementing robust security measures and controls.
- Act as a bridge between finance and IT teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide training and support to finance teams on system functionality and best practices.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in financial systems analysis, IT, or a related role.
- Familiarity with financial systems like SAP, Oracle Financials, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL and financial reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Knowledge of system integration and data migration.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to process improvement.
- Certifications (preferred):
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
- Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
- ITIL Foundation Certification.
