About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced IT Analyst (Financial) to join our team. The role involves managing and enhancing financial systems, ensuring data integrity, and supporting decision-making by providing critical financial insights. You will work closely with finance and IT teams to optimize financial processes and systems, contributing to the organization's operational and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial System Management

• Administer, configure, and maintain financial systems and software to ensure efficient operations.
• Collaborate with finance and IT teams to identify system requirements and implement enhancements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to financial systems, ensuring minimal downtime.

Data Analysis and Reporting

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities with actionable insights.

Process Improvement

• Evaluate and optimize financial workflows, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency.
• Identify automation opportunities and support their implementation to reduce manual processes.
• Ensure alignment of financial systems with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

Compliance and Security

• Ensure financial systems comply with relevant regulations (e.g., SOX, IFRS).
• Safeguard financial data by implementing robust security measures and controls.

Collaboration and Support

• Act as a bridge between finance and IT teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide training and support to finance teams on system functionality and best practices.

Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience in financial systems analysis, IT, or a related role.
• Familiarity with financial systems like SAP, Oracle Financials, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in SQL and financial reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Knowledge of system integration and data migration.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to process improvement.
• Certifications (preferred):
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
• Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
• ITIL Foundation Certification.
