ABOUT THE ROLE
In this exciting leadership role in the finance function (2IC to the GM of Financial Planning and Analysis), you will be responsible for delivering the team's strategic objectives. You will provide guidance and mentorship to the financial planning and analysis team and lead the financial planning and analysis processes and systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial planning and analysis team, including developing and coordinating monthly performance reporting, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and a three-year plan for the CA ANZ Group.
- Review key financial models.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support business needs and special projects.
- Work with the CFO leadership team to develop and deliver on the CFO functional strategy.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for an FP&A leader who can influence people at all levels. As an ideal candidate you will possess excellent leadership and communication skills and have a passion for making a difference.
To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:
- Experience leading a finance business partnering team
- Proven track record of developing high-performing teams and 'bringing teams along in the journey'
- Experience in financial planning & analysis, business case preparation, and performance reporting (ASX experience ideal).
- Exposure to strategic financial modelling (e.g., ROI economic models, cash flow modelling).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience in building financial models.
- Superior business communication skills (written, verbal, listening, and presentation) and experience in preparing Board/ARC level papers.
- An eye for detail, but also able to see the 'bigger picture'.
