Job Description: The Finance Controller will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company's financial operations, including accounting, reporting, Financial Planning & Analysis, tax, treasury, and post-investment management and financial integration. This position requires a professional with a strong ethical foundation and a business partnership mindset, capable of identifying financial improvements from a business-oriented perspective.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full spectrum of accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights into financial performance and support strategic decision-making.
Developing financial models, analyzing financial data, and providing actionable recommendations to drive business growth.
Oversee tax planning and compliance, working closely with tax authorities and ensuring tax efficiency.
Manage post-investment financial integration, ensuring seamless financial operations following mergers and acquisitions.
Collaborate with business units to understand their financial needs and provide solutions that align with company goals.
Maintain strong internal controls and risk management processes to safeguard company assets.
Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance. Relevant industry background is a plus.
Proven track record of leading and managing a finance team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations in the Asia-Pacific region.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and partner effectively with all levels of the organization.
High level of integrity and ethical standards.
