Service Line Overview

The KPMG Tax Managed Services (TMS) team is committed to providing technology-enabled services that help clients develop a target operating model for their tax function, thereby reducing costs, maintaining or improving quality, and unlocking value.

The team consists of specialists in data, processes and technology. We specialize in tailoring solutions for direct and indirect tax compliance and reporting services.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage tax compliance and reporting assignments, including preparing tax advice and reports for clients.
• Develop and implement innovative ways to approach client needs - Use research into client businesses (the issues they face, the state of markets, key developments) to initiate new service and product offerings to clients.
• Keep abreast of new technical developments and solutions, and confidently market these applications to both clients and Partners.
• You will be responsible for managing a group of people.
• Managing risks within the business by understanding the firm's risk management policies and ensuring compliance by the team

Experience & Background
• A degree in Accounting / Finance or any other business-related discipline and ideally a professional qualification (accounting or legal)
• At least 8 years' experience (for Senior Manager) in a professional firm
• Ability to make clear recommendations based on a sound assessment of advice and information gathered
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and VBA
• Logical, self-starter, team player, proactive and highly motivated
• Experiences in managing and mentoring junior staff
• Strong presentation skills with an excellent command of verbal and written English and fluency in Cantonese/Mandarin will be an advantage
• Candidate with less experiences will be considered as Manager
