Working at Stratton Finance in our newly created Business Development Manager position, you will be part of our growing Business Development team, working directly with the New Business Manager to grow and manage a portfolio of SME accounts. In this role, you will work to develop a portfolio of new referrers, driving quality finance enquiries to our team of finance brokers and maintain a second to none relationship with your accounts. This is a newly created role suited to someone looking at establishing themselves a career in Business Development, you be supported by established processes and opportunities within the Business Development team, but we want you to add your own flare! - B2B sales via phone, email, events and in person; presenting offerings of our business solutions to potential new partners
- Prospecting, grow a pipeline of quality new account opportunities, identify new vertical and asset markets
- Coordinate contracts & service agreements for acquired accounts; provide onboarding training and ongoing support
- Continue to monitor & set tactics for continued growth and performance of your portfolio
- Collaborate with internal teams, including IT, Marketing & Sales to ensure efficient onboarding and to drive sales activity
- B2B prospecting experience - natural hunter of new business
- Previous sales experience within the financial service industry
- Strong understanding of lending and brokering services
- Strong sales acumen, ability to self-motivate and hunger to succeed
- Exemplary communication skills, ability to build rapport quickly and effectively
- Ability to multitask, prioritising your workload and self-manage a large portfolio of accounts
