The mission of Community Action Programs Cayuga/Seneca (CAP) is to cultivate a community where all people are respectfully supported and empowered to embrace opportunities for learning, growth and economic security.
CAP is seeking a Fiscal Director. The Fiscal Director plays a pivotal role in steering Community Action Programs Cayuga/Seneca (CAP) financial strategy and operations, ensuring financial health and compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role demands a proactive leader who can navigate the financial complexities of nonprofit management, optimize resources, and drive financial efficiency and transparency across the organization. The Fiscal Director collaborates closely with the Executive Director, senior leadership, the Board of Directors and the Head Start Program Policy Council to forge and execute strategic financial plans, manage funding relationships, and uphold the financial integrity of the agency.
The Fiscal Director must meet the following minimum qualifications: Minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting, business, fiscal management or a related field and three years of fiscal experience required. CPA and or MBA would have preference, along with five years' experience as CFO or equivalent, preferably in a nonprofit organization with a budget of at least $10 million. Experience with implementing and aligning the Head Start Performance Standards, and Part 75-Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards, preferred.
This is a full-time, exempt position with an annual salary range of $85,000.00-90,000.00 based on experience.
