Join us as a Private Client Adviser, where you'll deliver bespoke wealth strategies and investment advice to high-net-worth beneficiaries of Estates and Trusts. With a focus on exceptional service, you'll manage an existing portfolio of Private Clients while actively promoting Equity Trustees' renowned Private Client services across Melbourne and Regional VIC.
About the role:
- Manage and service an existing book of high-net-worth clients
- Provide holistic and detailed strategic solutions
- Manage client portfolios, which include direct equities, managed funds and exchange-traded funds
- Represents Equity Trustees by building and maintaining trusting relationships with clients, providing a high level of personalised service
- Build on existing referrals and manage relationships
- Stay informed of industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and Equity Trustees' processes
- Collaboration with the broader Equity Trustees division to provide impactful client outcomes
What you'll need to succeed:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Financial Planner
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven experience in maintaining long-term, trusting relationships
- Proven expertise in investment strategies, estate planning, superannuation and retirement planning and tax-effective approaches.
- Strong compliance, and technical knowledge around legislative and regulatory requirements to provide quality advice in the client's best interest
- Strong sense of professionalism with a growth mindset and a client-centric approach
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Highly motivated with an ability to generate referrals from existing client base and referral partners.
