Corporate Tax Accountant

12-month contract for a Corporate Tax Accountant to join a friendly team Your new company
Located in the Perth CBD, our client is currently looking for a Tax Accountant to join their large finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a newly created role due to growth, reporting directly to the Tax Manager. If you are someone currently working in practice and hoping to move to the commercial space, or have experience in a similar role already - this could be the role for you!!

Your new role
Working in a team environment, you will be responsible for:
- Preparation and lodgement of income tax return
- Preparation and lodgement of fringe benefits returns
- Preparation and lodgement of ongoing BAS and PAYG statements
- Assist with managing statutory reporting obligations
- Assist with the provision of tax advice and ad-hoc project work
- Monthly reconciliation of tax accounts

What you'll need to succeed
- CA/CPA or equivalent qualification (or working towards this)
- Experience working within corporate tax - either in commerce or within public practice
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to multitask
- Ability to pick up new systems quickly
- Can-do attitude, personable and friendly personality
