Are you ready to make an impact? Modern Woodmen of America has an opportunity to join our Investment team as an Investment Analyst, Fixed Income. You would collaborate with other analysts on the development, monitoring, and administration of our $11+ billion fixed income portfolio.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing the company’s investment goals & strategies.
- Evaluate current financial markets, trends, and the overall economic landscape to find potential opportunities for the various fixed income portfolios.
- Follow and maintain relevant market information to prepare written/oral reports for Investment Committee, Board of Directors, regulators, and auditors.
- Perform fundamental company-specific credit analysis from both a quantitative and a qualitative standpoint.
- Recommend securities to Portfolio Managers, based on relative value analysis.
- Develop and maintain relationships with multiple brokers, research analysts, and other internal departments.
What we need:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
- Up to 5 years of investment experience.
- CFA designation or a commitment to obtain one.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and Bloomberg.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with a broad knowledge of investments and capital markets.
- Highly motivated, self-starter.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of the investment needs and constraints of insurance companies.
What we offer:
- Pay: The annual pay range for a Junior Investment Analyst position is $65,000 - $75,000. Annual pay range for an Investment Analyst position is $80,000 - $100,000. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.
- Work Arrangements: This is a full-time hybrid position: 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day), Monday- Friday, with flexible start time between 7:00AM-9:00AM. Hybrid positions work at least 3 days in office and the remaining days each week working from home.
