Senior Accounts Executive - Trade Finance (US Commodities Trading MNC) Location: Singapore (CBD)Hudson Recruitment is excited to partner with a leading US-based Commodities Trading MNC to find a talented Senior Accounts Executive specializing in Trade Finance. This is an excellent opportunity for finance professionals to join a dynamic and globally renowned organization, supporting their commercial management and financial operations in Singapore.
About the RoleAs the Senior Accounts Executive, you will play a key role in managing trade finance processes, ensuring smooth operations related to letters of credit, customer invoicing, and credit risk assessments. Working closely with regional stakeholders, this position requires strong expertise in trade finance and the ability to maintain efficient financial controls while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities

• Act as the division's Trade Finance expert, supporting the Commercial Management team with contractual and credit-related matters.
• Oversee the management of trade documents such as Letters of Credit (LCs), bank guarantees, insurance policies, and certificates of origin.
• Coordinate with the Accounts Receivable team to ensure accurate payment updates and booking advice.
• Collaborate with the Credit Controller to assess customer credit risks and align agreements with corporate credit policies.
• Partner with regional sales representatives and factories to ensure smooth customer delivery arrangements.
• Manage customer invoicing for machine orders and oversee order blocking/unblocking based on L/C status and payment progress.
• Provide backup support to the Credit Controller for collection processes.

What We're Looking For

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 4-5 years of relevant experience in trade finance, credit operations, or related fields.
• Proven expertise in managing Letters of Credit (LCs), bank guarantees, and trade finance documentation.
• Strong ability to liaise with banks on trade finance matters and credit issues.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Prior experience in commodities trading or related industries is an advantage.
