About the Role
As a Credit Administration Specialist in our Institutional Operations team, you'll play a key role in as a gatekeeper in terms of internal policies and guidelines. You will be responsible to manage the end to end loan documentation process from the stage of client facility documentation to activation of credit facilities. You will be the key point of contact for our customers, frontline, credit risk and legal teams for the issuance and execution of required documents

What will your day look like?
As a Credit Administration Specialist you main responsibilities will include;
- Facilitates the operation flow between front end to back end.
- Responsible for the documentation process from the stage of client facility documentation to activation of credit facilities.
- Responsible for the preparation of loan documentation (Letter of Offer ("LOO"), conditions precedent documents and standard security documents for all bilateral facilities based on ANZ standard templates).
- Facilities the documentation process which involves the preparation of non-standard documents such as customer templates as well as externally drafted documents.
- Facilitates and coordinates among customers, frontline, credit risk and legal for the issuance and execution of required documents. On the post execution side, responsible to issue limit approval advice to operations for limit activation, Limit mastering in OCP, manage and monitor annual review, internal triggers, financial and non-financial covenants, co-ordinate with stakeholders on obtaining up-to-date valuation reports and insurance policies.
- Loan Drawdown/Renewal/Repayment Preparation processing and maintenance of documentation relating to loan drawdown. Follow up documentation, relating to loan drawdown. Follow up on supporting documents and monitoring for completeness.
- Processing of data and documents as instructed including preparation of drawdown SWIFT messages.
- Liaison with Hub for month-end fee posting to P/L account.
- Interact with customers, facility agents and co-ordinate among the Hub and/or in country teams to deliver loan fulfilment and life cycle management services.
- Preparation of HKMA/APRA Large Exposure Report / other credit related reports to regulatory bodies and Head Office as requested.
- Collate information as required from stakeholders for audit/reporting purposes. Co-ordinate with Hub with in-country and regional projects such as the centralisation project and other initiatives to streamline operation flow
- Participate and facilitate the projects which assigned by the management.
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Tertiary Qualification preferred
- Strong experience in control and documentation functions in banks
- Familiar with the banking industry and operation flow of banks Certifications (if required)
- Ability to manage priorities and conflicting issues in a professional manner and interface with relevant stakeholders (i.e. RMs /Credit Risk/ Legal)
- Attentive to details and exercise business sense
- Ability to understand the operational mind set and always strive to enhance efficiency of operational flow
- Self-motivated with strong organisational and co-ordinations skills
- Computer Literacy in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
