The Global Service Provider Management team governs how we oversee the services that we have outsourced to the service providers. As Global Head Service Provider Management, you will be a pivotal figure in the management of service providers for our global organization. Your tasks will include:

  • Owning, maintaining, and further developing the global service provider framework in line with our strategic vision and goals
  • Ensuring the global service provider management framework provides an adequate, robust, and comprehensive set of policies, processes, procedures and tools to effectively manage service provider risks and performance
  • Adapting and reengineering the global service provider framework and underlying processes and procedures, on a risk-based approach, to cater to a constantly evolving business and regulatory environment in a complex, multi-jurisdictional business landscape
  • Leading the global service provider management team effectively to achieve high levels of performance within the team, as well as building/developing the team for both personal and professional growth
  • Leading and contributing to various projects, including technology advancements and improvement initiatives, collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders across the firm as well as with service providers
  • Responsibility to enforce adherence to the global service provider management framework globally across multiple business areas through a robust control and monitoring framework, as well as education to stakeholders
  • Acting as thought leader for service provider management in Partners Group, providing expert guidance to business and other stakeholders throughout the service provider life cycle
  • Implementing effective performance management and risk mitigation strategies for business-critical service providers to ensure delivery of high-quality services and the achievement of our strategic outsourcing related goals
  • Demonstrating exceptional relationship management skills, fostering and nurturing close working relationships with key service providers, while maintaining a firm and resilient approach when it comes to issues and conflicts resolution
  • Effectively overseeing key service provider relationships, demonstrating adeptness in managing the complexities of strategic partnerships
  • Keeping abreast of and analyzing industry developments and interacting regularly with our peers
  • Driving operational and cost efficiencies by establishing an effective cost management model and benchmarking our service provider spend against market standards
  • Regularly interacting with and influencing Partners Group business teams, members of management, boards and committees

What we expect

  • University or professional studies in Finance related fields or equivalent qualifications
  • 8-12 years' experience in managing/overseeing service provider and client relationships, preferably in a private markets/financial services environment. Experience within asset managers or service providers servicing asset managers in relation to fund services is a plus.
  • Fluency in English; German and/or French is a plus
