The employer is an established sell side financial services institution, specializing in various asset classes including Equities, ETF's, Futures, Options, FX, CFD's, ETF's and Fixed Income, serving predominantly institutional clients.
Role:
• Perform robust financial control and accounting for the holding company and preparation of consolidated reporting.
• Overseeing the business's day-to-day financial operations
• Accounting for the Holding Company on a stand-alone basis
• Preparation of consolidated accounts and financial reporting.
• Participation in finance transformation projects and ad hoc work, as required.
• Implementation of best practice finance policies and procedures, including the firm's accounting policy.
• Participation in setting up finance function in new entities created in the group.
• Production of regular MIS and budgeting plans for senior stakeholders.
Experience Sought:
• Minimum of four years of accounting experience, gained in a financial or professional services firm.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Good understanding of IFRS
• Good understanding of financial consolidation process
• Analytic skills: ability to work in a very dynamic environment.
• Accounting qualification preferred, CIMA or ACCA.
• Experience of producing consolidated annual reports
• VBA, MS Access, Power BI, Power Query expertise will be advantageous.
