Job Responsibilities
- Facilitate projects and enhancements initiated by Management or Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), and ensure that they are running in compliance with the Bank's standard project governance (i.e raising CER for capital expenditure, generating a tender waiver, negotiating prices, using e-bidding)
- Work closely with the relevant Operations and Business Units on matters relating to projects and enhancement; also to follow up with the IT SME on technical related issues
- Perform Trend analysis on Data Quality Framework (DQF) for Statistical Reporting to BNM
- Managing CCRIS Data Quality Report (DQR) and MFRS 9 Data Gaps Report submission and ensure timely submission as well as ensure continuous improvement in data quality.
- Disseminate BNM emails to Report Owners; coordinate and provide guidance to Report Owners in relation to statistical reporting requirements to ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness of statistical report submission in accordance to relevant regulatory policy document
- Review ITR, UAT results and UAT signoff as part of the change approval process to ensure the alignment towards BNM's Statistical Report
- Coordinate yearly CRS/FATCA submission to LHDN; Update the SOP on regular basis as dictated by the Bank's policy.
Job Requirements
Education/Qualifications
- Malaysian Citizen
- Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Banking, Finance or a recognized professional tertiary qualification in related field and/or with related working experience
Experience
- Minimum 1 year working experience in Regulatory Reporting in the financial services industry.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as on-the-job training will be provided
Skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Good interpersonal and persuasion skills
- Well versed in Microsoft Office Application (especially Excel application)
- Possess knowledge on Retail Banking System and Cards Host System will be an added advantage
