Allianz offers an exciting scholarship opportunity for talented TU Delft students at the end of their bachelor's or beginning of their master's studies in Applied Mathematics or related fields. Join our finance team and gain hands-on experience while contributing to crucial departments like Risk Management, Actuarial Function & Model Validation (Life/P&C), Accounting & Performance Steering, or our Data Office.

About the Scholarship The Allianz Scholarship is designed to support and empower young talents passionate about finance and analytics. Selected students will receive a competitive scholarship and the chance to complete an internship of at least 5 months, working closely with experts in our finance departments. This is an excellent opportunity to deepen your understanding of finance, actuarial science, risk, and data management.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with finance and actuarial teams on high-impact projects.
  • Apply mathematical and statistical models to analyze data and forecast trends.
  • Support the design, validation, and documentation of models for risk and actuarial functions.
  • Contribute to financial reporting, performance steering, and data analysis initiatives.
  • Present findings and insights to stakeholders, contributing to decision-making processes.

Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in Applied Mathematics or a related field at TU Delft.
  • In the final year of a bachelor's degree or the early stages of a master's program.
  • Available for a minimum 5-month internship at Allianz's finance departments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and programming skills (e.g., Python or R)
  • Effective communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus.
