Account Director - KSA (South APAC) - 6 months parental leave cover

We have an outstanding opportunity for an Account Director to join our team for a period of 6 months to provide parental leave cover.

As the Account Director, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional value to our clients, as well as leading a high performing team. Direct responsibility to lead and motivate a team and drives performance growth through go to market strategy, customer engagement, sales excellence and accurate management and forecasting of the business. We are seeking a good coach, with sharp knowledge of managing complex customers across a number of markets, and with strong interpersonal skills to develop relationships with both local, regional and international team members (such as GBDs and GSRDs). We are also seeking someone with robust pipeline development skills, a flair for quickly grasping the dynamics at play on retention and white space opportunities, and the drive to help their account managers move deals forward with urgency and attention to detail. Above all, the successful candidate will be a member of the APAC KSA Leadership Team, with the strategic mentality that helps unblock barriers to execution, elevate team performance, and deliver on LSEG's strategy as it pertains to KSA in region.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the sales strategy for our strategic accounts

• Take senior leadership responsibility for a significant portion of revenue

• Drive thought leadership and share insights with our customers, positioning our company as a leader in the industry.

• Provide strategic and operational leadership to the account team, ensuring the achievement of sales, revenue, and organisational objectives.

• Act as a creative strategist, improving the growth of our products and solutions.

• Implement innovative approaches to increase market share and drive short and long-term business growth.

• Contribute to the development of product and division strategies, influencing functional strategy.

• Foster close alignment with our global Key Strategic Accounts group leadership, collaborating with Global Business Directors, Senior Management Stakeholders, and Finance groups.

• Identify, define, and solve problems that impact management and business direction.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as a people leader, driving performance and an inclusive culture

• Extensive knowledge of the financial services industry, including equities, foreign exchange, fixed income, and commodities.

• Creative, upbeat, and innovative approach, with the ability to effectively communicate key business messages to diverse audiences.

• Excellent communication skills and gravitas when engaging with senior managers in the firm, and senior directors at our clients.

• Expertise in account management, with the ability to implement strategic and tactical initiatives.

• Strong collaboration.

• Experience in leading, motivating, developing, and mentoring diverse account teams.

• Proficiency in opportunity management.

• Ability to resolve issues through evaluative judgment, innovative thinking, and past experience.

• Structured, methodical, and hands-on approach to leading the business and team.

• Recognized as someone with an informedpoint of view within the financial services.
