As a Accountant Team Leader & Financial Controller, you will have a critical role in managing financial compliance and supporting the company's financial operations. You will take ownership of the monthly and annual financial closings, cash flow management, and act as the main point of contact for auditors and banking partners. As a Accountant Team Leader & Financial Controller, you will have a critical role in managing financial compliance and supporting the company's financial operations. You will take ownership of the monthly and annual financial closings, cash flow management, and act as the main point of contact for auditors and banking partners. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and verifying book entries in the general ledger, debtors ledger, and creditors ledger.
- Maintaining and improving documentation of internal controls and optimizing financial processes.
- Preparing financial reports to ensure tax and regulatory compliance.
- Supporting budgeting processes and managing asset inventories.
- Assisting accounting colleagues and providing ERP system expertise (Microsoft Dynamics 365).
Profile:
We are looking for a candidate with:
- A Finance and Accounting Specialist certification (Brevet) or a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a multicultural setting.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a strong asset.
- A proactive and adaptable personality with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to excel in a collaborative environment.
- Fluent in English.
- Knowledge of German or French is a significant advantage.
