On behalf of our client, a leading provider of trust, corporate, and fund services, Swisslinx is seeking a Accountant to join their dynamic team in Zurich. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a Fiduciary role, demonstrating a strong understanding of Swiss accounting practices and tax compliance.
This position is permanent, based in Zurich (100% workload), with the latest possible start date being December 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage accounting and tax compliance for Swiss entities.
• Oversee bookkeeping, including the setup and implementation of the chart of accounts.
• Prepare annual accounts as well as monthly, quarterly, and other financial reports.
• Prepare and follow up on tax declarations in Switzerland.
• Prepare and follow up on VAT statements.
• Handle client payroll, social contributions declarations, and social insurance matters in Switzerland, including aspects of international mobility.
• Interact with various local and federal administrations in Switzerland.
• Collaborate with client advisors, including legal professionals, auditors, and tax specialists.
• Provide coaching and guidance to junior accountants.
Your Profile:
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Treuhand/fiduciary role.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss payroll and tax regulations.
• Prior experience working in a Treuhand environment/proven fiduciary experience in Switzerland.
• Ability to work autonomously, particularly in balance sheet closing.
• Fluency in both German and English is required.
