About this Position : Note: This position will work from home. Occasional planned travel to an office location may be required. As a Back End Servicing Auditor, a team member will accurately and efficiently perform due diligence on Operational Service Providers including monitoring and auditing action plans to ensure overall compliance with policies and processes.

About this Position : Note: This position will work from home. Occasional planned travel to an office location may be required. As a Back End Servicing Auditor, a team member will accurately and efficiently perform due diligence on Operational Service Providers including monitoring and auditing action plans to ensure overall compliance with policies and processes.
Outcomes & Activities :
- This position will work from home; occasional planned travel to an assigned Southfield, Michigan office location may be required. However, this position is permitted to work at a Southfield, Michigan office location if requested by the team member
- Perform initial and annual due diligence on Operational Service Providers (repossession contractors, collection and bankruptcy law firms, and auctions) to evaluate for compliance with applicable policies and job aids. This includes:
- Assessing Operational Service Provider responses and supporting documents to confirm Service Providers understand and are capable of complying with consumer financial protection laws
- Clearly documenting your findings and making an assessment recommendation (Passed/Failed)
- Where opportunities are identified, work with Back End Servicing to take corrective action, as needed
- Perform onsite and remote audits throughout the year to ensure Operational Service Providers understand and are capable of complying with federal and state consumer financial protection laws. This includes:
- Perform annual SPAs (Service Provider Assessment) in the Service Provider Portal.
- Conduct Service Provider Action Plan Audits
- Conduct onsite audits of Service Providers consistent with Company policies and procedures. Conduct remote audits of Collection Law Firms' compliance and internal controls, as well as financial and billing practices
- Clearly and accurately recording audit results for monthly reporting
- Travel for site visits to Operational Service Providers when necessary
Requirements:
- Experience in Service Provider Relationship Management and/or Auditing
- Knowledge of Company policies and procedures relating to Service Providers
- Able to travel to meet business needs: 15-20% travel
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Teams and Excel)
- Proficient in operating office equipment (laptop, cell phone, dual monitors and keyboard).
- High speed internet connection with a minimum of 15mbph download speed
Preferred :
- Associates or Bachelor's degree
- At least 3 years of Recovery/Loan Servicing experience and/or auditing experience
- Experience working with Service Providers
- Experience reviewing Service Provider contracts/guidelines/policies and procedures
- Experience interpreting existing rules/guidelines/internal policies

- Ownership: Own performance, receptive to feedback; apply feedback to improve; active participant in training and coaching sessions
- Assessment: Assess team members' interactions with Service Providers and Service Providers' adherence to Company policies and procedures; identify barriers; recommend and implement changes, including Service Provider fit
- Coach: Set expectations; continuously coach / provide feedback to team members and Service Providers; facilitate learning & development; use best practices;
- Honest: Ethical; best interest of organization in mind; fair; consistent; integrity; comply with our policies and procedures
