THE ROLE
Reporting to the Asia Business Controller - (based in Singapore), the incumbent will be responsible for Asia Pacific for Maintenance business line, cash collections, reporting, detailed review of maintenance revenue lines, analysis and financial control matters. He/she will also be responsible for ensuring that internal controls and group policies are adhered.

OPPORTUNITIES
  • You will be accountable for accuracy of profitability of all Maintenance revenue stream, which includes detailed review of all Maintenance accounting entries (revenue and cost) for monthly closing.
  • You will be responsible for Maintenance Revenue recognition , Forecasting and Annual Budgeting
  • You will be accountable for all partners, externals cost accruals and also intercompany recharges (including accuracy and timeliness)
  • You will work with Assistant Revenue Controller with revenue recognition matters (License, SAAS BV) to ensure compliance against the Group Financial Policies.
  • You will work with and manage finance shared service centre ("SSC") in India on month-end closing and all other accounting related activities
  • You will review and manage the Net Working Capital, Cash inflow management, forecasting and budgeting for maintenance revenue stream.
  • You will review and control spend against approved budget/forecast via strong finance business collaborating with the head of business/project manager/business owners.
  • You will liaise with internal and external auditors on audit requirements and control issues
  • You will ensure compliance with all internal and external reporting requirements, internal controls and group accounting policies
  • You will identify and drive process improvements with Shared Service Centre ("SSC") team
  • You will coach and mentor the Shared Service Centre ("SSC") team
  • You will handle other ad hoc assignments as requested or assigned
SKILLS
  • You should have CPA or Bachelor of Accountancy equivalent from local University.
  • You should have at least 7 years working experience, In-depth understanding of finance and business control requirements in an IT/software business environment
  • You should have highly analytical, with strong accounting knowledge
  • You should have excellent Management reporting
  • You should have good understanding in IFRS and project controlling are critical to be successful in this role.
  • You should be a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with parties from different levels, different cultural background and ability to work as part of a team is essential
  • You should be committed, results-driven and well-organized, with high professional standards and strive for operational excellence
  • You should be able to work under pressure and fast pace environment
  • Experience in Oracle and Hyperion will be greatly advantageous.
