Do work that matters
As the Senior Manager, Performance Analytics, the purpose of the role is to help deliver the strategic agenda for FR&A. This will involve delivering value-adding, insightful reporting and analysis to the Board, CEO, CFO, ELT, Executive General Manager Group Finance, and Group Treasurer, relating to the strategic direction and performance of the Group.
You will drive the development of analytical infrastructure to assist the Group meet its strategic priorities. You will be a key contributor to the digitisation and optimisation of financial reporting processes to deliver insights that support decision making.

The Group Financial Reporting & Analysis (FR&A) team provides financial support to the CEO, CFO, Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Board. The team's areas of focus include:
- Performance & Investment Reporting and Analysis - performance analysis, monthly management reporting for the Group and Profit Announcement reporting to shareholders
- Planning and Forecasting - ownership of the Group's Planning & Forecasting process, strategic and ad-hoc analysis
- Group Reporting & Accounting Policy - specialist accounting advice on transactions and maintenance of accounting policy and co-ordination of the Annual Report to shareholders
- Decision Support - strategic projects, insight development and ad-hoc analysis

- Help drive out productivity improvements across our key reporting processes
- Create data visualisations, dashboards and/or reports that provide a unified view across Group Performance Reporting to drive actionable insights for better business outcomes
- Seek to enhance financial reporting analytics
- Articulate key business drivers, provide critical insights to drive discussion, and deliver value-add analysis of all Group businesses for the Executive Committee and Board
- Demonstrable ability in managing and balancing priorities. Ability to manage multiple concurrent engagements effectively.
- Share time and knowledge with other team members to support continued development, drive team engagement and build a stronger team.
- Ensure continuity of delivery from automation solutions through a thorough change control process.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with Finance and Non-Finance stakeholders, including Business Unit Finance Teams, Investor Relations, Treasury, Risk Management and Group Strategy
Other qualities you may possess include
- You are naturally curious and driven about how data can be used to identify new opportunities and make impactful business decisions.
- Strong analytical, problem solving skills, and commercial acumen
- You're likely to have used several of the following languages / environments, and you get excited by the prospect of learning more: SQL, Tableau, R, Python
- You are confident you can get data into a form that you can work with, whatever format it starts in - whether that's a relational database, text file, or anything else, and can suitably visualise it for others.
- Knowledge of visualisation best practices for complex data relationships
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously
- Innovative and able to drive results
