The team are experiencing fantastic growth and looking for a proactive and forward-thinking Finance Officer, who will support the day-to- day accounting operations of the Company to ensure the maintenance of accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities
  • General, sales and purchase ledger postings, reconciliation, and control.
  • Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory accounting, fixed assets, and revenue recognition.
  • Assist with the reconciling the balance sheet and intercompany accounts including a review of accruals and prepayments.
  • Ensure income is accurately recorded by the pre-wholesaler and allocated to the respective revenue streams.
  • Preparation of payments within the corporate banking and digital payment systems.
  • Preparation of monthly sales and inventory reconciliation
  • Assist with the production of quarterly VAT Returns including Postponed VAT on imports.
  • Provide accurate and timely information for management accounts.
  • Daily bank reconciliation and processing of employee expenses.
  • Assist with the preparation of external financial audit packs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new tools, technologies, or procedures to improve workflows.

Skills Required
  • Part-Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA,CIMA) or AAT.
  • Strong system skills, specifically Excel.
  • Experience of intercompany would be advantageous.
  • Able to work collaboratively and influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and forward-thinking mindset
