Morgan McKinley is proud to be working in with a SME business in Lutterworth, that will be relocating to Rugby in a couple of months.
Our Client is looking for a highly organised, Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their intimate finance team. This is a full-time onsite role and you will have the chance to work within a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately process and record invoices, credit notes, and employee expenses
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Ensure timely and accurate payments to suppliers
• Support month-end closing activities, including ledger reconciliations
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date purchase ledger records
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure adherence to financial procedures and compliance
Candidate Profile:
• Proficient in data entry with experience in Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
• Strong analytical skills for financial data and account reconciliation
• Knowledge of Sage is essential; familiarity with Xero is a plus
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar purchase ledger or accounts payable role (candidates with solid purchase ledger knowledge and less than 3 years' experience may be considered)
• Understanding of financial processes related to purchasing transactions
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (37.5 hours per week)
