Your Opportunity:
We are seeking a structured securities analyst who is interested in contributing to the securitized investment team through identifying market themes, analyzing sectors and individual securities, and recommending and executing transactions across the securitized universe in a team-based investment process. This role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in all aspects of our investment process.
Qualifications:
- Two to four years of experience in trading and/or analyzing, and modeling structured securities.
- In-depth understanding and knowledge of Agency MBS, specified pools, CMOs, Agency CMBS, and non-guaranteed securitized sectors.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and experience with mortgage valuation modeling via Yieldbook and Bloomberg.
- Ability to develop proprietary tools to asset in idea generation and security selection.
- Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to the Denver, Colorado area.

Responsibilities:
- Report asset class trends, valuations, and opportunities to investment team.
- Work with portfolio managers and quantitative modelling tools to support the relative value and security selection process within a risk adjusted return framework.
- Develop and communicate trade ideas and performance themes to portfolio managers and clients while working as part of a broader analyst team.
- Build relationships with sell-side counterparties for idea generation and trading execution.
- Perform ongoing quantitative and qualitative surveillance analysis of portfolios holdings as well as analysis of new issue and secondary investment opportunities.
- Potential opportunity to be responsible for the execution of securities.
Full Time: Hours reflect the bond market’s hours of operation
Compensation Range: Total compensation will be commensurate with experience and ultimate role definition. $135,000-$245,000
