Our client, a leading firm based in Surrey, is looking for a Senior Audit Manager to join their growing team. About the Role:

As a Senior Audit Manager, you will take on a key leadership role within the audit team. You'll be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring high-quality audit services, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will also play a critical role in the delivery of ad-hoc project work, working closely with partners and clients on a variety of exciting and complex assignments.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading and managing audits from planning to completion for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.
  • Managing and coaching junior staff members, providing guidance and support to help them develop in their roles.
  • Maintaining and developing client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Identifying and driving business development opportunities with existing clients and prospects.
  • Reviewing financial statements and ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS.
  • Overseeing the delivery of ad hoc projects, offering clients strategic insights into their financial and operational challenges.

What You'll Bring:
  • ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified with significant audit experience, ideally gained within a mid-tier or top 40 firm.
  • A track record of managing audits, teams, and client relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and audit regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders and manage multiple projects.
  • Enthusiasm for driving the development of junior team members.
  • A passion for working across a variety of industries, including motorsport, retail, technology, property development, and financial services.
