- Empower the business by making informed risk and control decisions backed by meticulous data and thorough commercial analysis.
- Clearly define and communicate the risk landscape of the banks business processes, ensuring the integrity and consistency of our controls.
- Identify and address any deviations in control effectiveness that might affect the banks risk tolerance, keeping any financial operations secure and compliant.
- Drive enhancements in the bank's accountability structure, ensuring that roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and effectively managed.
- Offer proactive, knowledgeable advice to bolster the banks risk management practices and anticipate future risk landscape shifts.
- Challenge and refine control measures, ensuring they are efficient, effective, and fit for their intended purpose.
- A robust non-financial risk background within the financial services sector.
- Expertise in leading risk and control assessments and a commitment to operational excellence.
- Experience in developing, overseeing, and applying financial controls, with a solid understanding of SOX and Operational Risk frameworks.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to innovate and enhance control processes and reporting mechanisms.
