We are seeking talented individuals in Krakow, to take on the challenge of this critical role. Candidates must be locally based and have the right to work in these countries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, document, and maintain robust models for Market Risk, Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR), Stress Testing, and Economic Capital.
- Ensure exceptional quality in the documentation and analysis prepared for regulatory submissions.
- Interpret business and regulatory model requirements, ensuring developed models align with these expectations.
- Proactively monitor and address performance issues across the full portfolio of Traded Risk models.
- Provide insightful guidance to the business on the impacts of risk models, aiding in strategic adaptation.
- Foster coordination with global initiatives to ensure model alignment with the requirements specific to Continental Europe.
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field (PhD, MSc preferred) with a focus on Quantitative Finance.
- Demonstrable experience in market risk and/or counterparty credit risk modeling.
- Familiarity with Basel regulatory frameworks.
- Proficient in programming languages like Python, C++, and SQL.
- Analytical and problem-solving prowess, coupled with a keen eye for detail.
- Thrives in collaborative settings, appreciating diverse team dynamics in an international milieu.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- Fluency in English and French (preferred), ensuring seamless communication across diverse teams.
