Job Purpose:

Finance control and accounting for the holding company and preparation of consolidated reporting. Overseeing the business's day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounting for the Holding Company on stand-alone basis
  • Preparation of consolidated accounts
  • Interim financial reporting
  • Annual audit
  • Participation in finance transformation projects
  • Creation and maintenance of Finance policies and procedures, including the firm's accounting policy.
  • Participation in setting up finance function in new entities in the group (if required)
  • MIS, budgeting, and fin control for the legal entity.

Experience:

Minimum 3 year of accounting experience in financial services. Involvement in consolidation. Having at least 4 large public accounting and auditing firms background is a plus.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Partial accounting qualification, good understanding of IFRS
  • Good understanding of financial consolidation process
  • Enhanced MS Excel knowledge
  • High ethical standards and professionalism
  • Analytic skills: ability to work in a very dynamic environment

Preferred
  • Master's degree
  • Accounting qualification, CIMA
  • Experience of producing consolidated annual reports
  • VBA, MS Access, Power BI, Power Query; ability to automate basic processes
  • Leadership and Communication skills
  • Presentation skills, experience in reporting to the shareholders
