Cedar Rock Financial Group is seeking an experienced Equity Portfolio Manager to join our team. We are looking for an individual with a passion for financial markets and portfolio management for this role. The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for our North American Equity model overseeing the strategy, research, and implementation to maximize returns while managing risks effectively.
Cedar Rock Financial Group is a holistic financial planning and wealth management firm with over 23 years of experience based in beautiful Fort Langley, BC. We work closely with our clients to achieve their financial goals.
Duties:
Applicant should have hands-on experience with portfolio management. Assets included in our portfolios include individual stocks, fixed income, and alternative investments.
- Oversee and maintain our North American Equity model
- Monitor portfolio performance and make adjustments as needed to optimize returns
- Conduct research on various investment opportunities and market conditions
- Utilize financial software for portfolio management and reporting Implement risk management strategies to protect assets and minimize losses
- Present in client meetings on performance, portfolio review, asset allocation changes
- Create quarterly market commentary update for client communication
Prerequisites:
You have experience in equity portfolio management.
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in portfolio management
Skills:
- Proficiency in financial software for portfolio management
- Strong financial analysis skills
- Excellent relationship management abilities
- Research skills to analyze market trends and opportunities
- Experience in portfolio management
- Strong mathematical aptitude
- Background in financial services
- Excellent in written and verbal communication
