Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the complete accounting processes for Group entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS, including the review of journal entries for accurate book closing.
- Compile management reports and account closing information, including balance sheet substantiation, cost allocations, detailed financial analysis, variance analysis, and cost analysis.
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS for audit purposes and coordinate the annual audit and tax filing processes.
- Review corporate tax computations prepared internally and manage corporate tax returns prepared by external service providers
- Handle liquidity management tasks, including preparing cash flow forecasts, managing operational cash flows, fee collection, and intercompany fund transfers.
- Develop budgets and forecasts for business units and group cost centers, analyzing financial and operational results.
- Participate in banking authorization and administration processes.
- Collaborate with business finance team members to enhance and streamline operational and account closing procedures.
- Support the Head of Finance in system enhancements and other project-based initiatives, acting as an internal project manager and preparing procedural documentation.
Requirements
- Experienced CPA with at least 8-10 years of accounting experience in the financial services industry or with a multinational corporation.
- Excellent communication skills, with a strong command of both written and spoken English.
- Proficient in MS Excel and other accounting systems.
- Experience with system enhancements is an advantage.
