Job Description
Brookfield is looking for a Finance Manager to support the team's reporting and FP&A processes, future acquisitions and dispositions, onboarding and business partner our portfolio.
The Finance Manager will serve as a key point of contact to Brookfield's office portfolio companies, ensuring successful delivery of the reporting and FP&A needs of Brookfield. The candidate will manage the relationship with their portfolio companies and be a student of the businesses they are responsible for. They will take end-to-end ownership of business planning, reforecasting, quarterly results and valuations. The individual will ensure deliverables from the portfolio company are of a high standard for various business stakeholders.

Job Description
Brookfield is looking for a Finance Manager to support the team's reporting and FP&A processes, future acquisitions and dispositions, onboarding and business partner our portfolio.
The Finance Manager will serve as a key point of contact to Brookfield's office portfolio companies, ensuring successful delivery of the reporting and FP&A needs of Brookfield. Responsibilities for this position include the following:
- Business partnering with Brookfield's real estate portfolio companies.
- Assess and communicate trends in the quarterly financial reporting relative to historic results, forecasts, business plans and commercial / market events
- Assist with the creation and on-going assessment of portfolio valuations, ensuring consistency with other Brookfield investments and industry standards
- Understand commercial business drivers for results and valuations through interaction with the finance teams and portfolio managers
- Key individual in the annual business planning process, ensuring robust understanding and challenge of assumptions, providing advice on required accounting adjustments
- Managing funding needs for our Portfolio Companies whilst complying with Brookfield's established processes
- Establish a strong working relationship with portfolio company finance teams to align with Brookfield processes and requirements
- Commercially focused finance individual with excellent stakeholder skills, comfortable communicating to Brookfield and portfolio company finance leadership, legal teams and tax advisers
- Knowledge of accounting to be able to assist in preparation of reporting packs under IFRS, identify issues, and follow guidance, and consult internally
- Experience working through complex transactions (acquisitions, dispositions, or debt financings)
- Experience of FP&A within a matrix organisation
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines and goals, whilst working in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Competent knowledge of fair value accounting to be able to assist in review of financial results including under IFRS, identify issues, and follow guidance, and consult internally
- Self-starter and independent thinker who acts creatively to problem solve
- Clear and concise communicator - make the complex simple to understand
- Additional European language would be favourable, but not a necessity
- Achieved 2.1 in any degree discipline
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) or equivalent with 4+ years PQE
- Strong Excel skills and proficient in PowerPoint
