Job Description
Fund Marketing Services – RFP Practice RFP Services is one of the key practices within the Fund Marketing Services line of business at Acuity where we create necessary specialisms to respond to asset and wealth management RFPs and DDQs. As part of the practice, we also review and analyze content databases in their as-is states and provide recommendations for fully capturing their potential, and support with content restructuring to ensure better tagging, archiving and overall usability. RFP and DDQs are Q&A documents (questionnaires) including standard and non-standard questions asked by prospects/clients to request information and conduct due diligence on an investment manager to ensure their investments are in “safe hands”.
Position
As an RFP/DDQ Writer, you will be part of client-dedicated RFP/DDQ platforms Acuity builds for its asset and wealth management clients. These strategic platforms, developed in close collaboration with our clients, provide capacity augmentation, recommendations and share industry best practices, and overall work as an extension of our client’s own team. Acuitykp.com In this role, you will be primarily responsible for responding to RFPs and DDQs from retail and institutional investors cutting across asset classes and investment strategies.
Expectations
Seamless project management of RFP/DDQs from start to finish while ensuring accurate and timely completion Collate generic responses from a centralized knowledgebase (RFP library) to answer standard qualitative questions Source key financial statistics from proprietary/vendor managed databases and platforms to answer standard quantitative questions Collaborate with product partners and subject matter experts (SMEs) to collate responses for dynamic and nonstandard quantitative and qualitative questions Package final deliverables (executive summary, Q&A doc, supporting attachments etc.) per client instruction
Key attributes needed to succeed in this role
To succeed in this role, you must have attention to detail, ability to look at the big picture, a sound understanding of capital markets, and a demonstrated affinity towards various investment management vehicles/products, such as, mutual funds, separate accounts, separately managed accounts, comingled funds, collective investment trusts etc. You must be innovative, and able to negotiate with various internal and external stakeholders to meet stringent deadlines within a pressing environment. Being aware of the various information clients/prospects might require via the questionnaire and your ability to quickly present such information in a clear, concise and compelling manner, would help you establish your personal brand as an RFP/DDQ Writer.
