Major Duties
• Azure -Level of understanding should Medium .
• ITIL Knowledge a Must .
• Experience in Financial Services Industry
• Oracle /Any Database - Expert in writing Queries.
• Work closely with application leads, data modelers, cloud engineers and architects to understand the
implementation and provide the required support.
• Candidate will be responsible for supporting very large scale data cloud solutions using Azure
/Snowflake capabilities and features.
• Understand and support Snowflake.
Knowledge of Applications like Control-M or any Job Scheduler
Knowledge of Phyton - Added Advantage
Knowledge SNOW,Confulence,JIRA,ADO Boards .
Required Knowledge/Skills
• Good knowledge of database objects like schemas, tables/views, sequence, Stored Proc, Functions, etc
• Understanding of data object management, Concepts of Transactions, SQL variables, schema/share data
and Db management in snowflake
• Knowledge of Snowflake API such as Kafka, Python or Spark for data loading, SQL API for interacting
with Snowflake cloud or using snowpark API
• Azure ADF - Azure Data Factor .
• Exposure to Snowflake capabilities like Copy command, Streams, Tasks, Time Travel is a plus
• Handling Parquet, JSON files is a plus
• Working knowledge of any ETL tool (Alteryx, Informatica, DataStage or SSIS etc.) is a plus
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI), Schedular applications like Control -M and
Cloud tools like Azure data factory is preferred.
Preferred Skills
• Experience in supporting Cloud data projects
• Experience with any cloud platform - AWS/Azure/GCP
• Good communication and articulation skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management in
high-pressure situations
• Experience in Financial Services Industry
General Requirements
• Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle
• Ability to support multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with partners and peers.
• Familiar with US financial market a plus.
Experience
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Overall 3-6+ Years of Industry experience
