We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Financial Business Partner to join our expanding team in our Manchester City Centre office, this integral role will play a key role in collaborating with internal stakeholders and teams across the business inside and outside of the UK to ensure the business achieves its goals.

How you'll make an impact
  • Reporting to the Head of FP&A for International Payments, you will act as a commercial business partner to the International Payments team, to enable and support all financial planning and decision making across the team to help them achieve their financial targets.
  • You will ensure revenue and profitability is accurately forecast and reported, working with the teams to identify, track and manage risks and opportunities to Budgets and Forecasts.
  • Pricing and Deal modelling, including impact on Balance and ensuring deals are negotiated above or at shareholder return thresholds.
  • Providing informative commercial analysis and insight to leadership teams supporting the business and Corporate KPI's that drive revenue and profitability- including identifying customer segmentations.
  • Provide business casing and investment appraisal support e.g. Capital Planning Process (CPP) i.e. Account profitability
  • Accountable for coordination and translation of growth initiatives
  • Recommending cost reduction strategies and impact this may have
  • Work closely with the leadership teams to formulate the financial business plans
  • Work with subject matter experts in the business on complex pieces of analysis across the business
  • Work directly with management to develop sales commission plans for International payments

Experience/Key Competencies:
  • A newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or global equivalent) with PQE working in day-to-day financial planning and analysis in a global company environment, ideally from a Fintech background.
  • Recent experience working in the Planning function within financial services industries preferred.
  • Solid commercial acumen including supporting pricing and developing business cases for investments.
  • Experience of developing and maintaining financial planning and reporting models in Planning Analytics or other similar finance BI tool e.g. Anaplan, UI Path, Alteryx
  • Advanced Excel
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Evidence of strong business partnering with the ability to influence decision makers
  • The right level of judgment, drive and influence to successfully communicate key messages and influence decision makers
  • A self-starter with strong ambition to grow and develop, demonstrated by seeking out opportunities for advancement and assisting others as needed
  • Ability to prioritise competing demands across a wide spectrum of activity
  • Proactive hands on approach and keen to make a difference
  • Flexibility - displays a creative and flexible approach to meet the changing circumstances of a growing business
  • Attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of reporting
