Valuation Analyst

What it's about

In this position, you will be part of the Investment Valuation Services team which is responsible for the investment monitoring and valuation process across our private debt & private equity investments. Your tasks include:

• Support and steer the management of our monthly, quarterly and annual investment valuation process and controlling of valuations
• Contribute to the development and improvement of existing valuation and reporting tools and processes
• Oversight of financial performance and covenant compliance for debt assets throughout investment period
• Review valuations for our debt assets provided by service providers
• Collaborate with various teams within Partners Group as well as with external parties (service providers, auditors etc.) on monitoring and valuation related matters

What we expect

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or similar.
• 3-5 years work experience in the financial industry.
• Preferred candidate should have a good understanding of financial statements.
• Have the experience of running processes that involves multiple stakeholders to ensure output are accurate, complete and consistent.
• Has a strong desire to learn and perform private market valuations
• Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills
• A self-directed person, able to manage and complete tasks effectively within demanding timelines
• Strong analytical skills and attention to details
• Well-organized, eager to learn and a good team player
• Proficient in Excel in creating overviews and databases such as Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ, IHS Markit will be a plus.
