Job Descriptions:
- Support HKRBC Financial Planning: Assist in ORSA reporting and business plan projections. Beyond production and analysis, the candidate will evaluate the impact of various management actions to achieve organizational objectives.
- Regulatory Reporting for Macau Branch: Oversee regulatory reporting, support the team in determining capital injection amounts, conduct analyses for management review, and ensure robust controls are in place to deliver high-quality results promptly.
- Macau RBC Regime Consultations and QIS Exercises: Support the completion of consultations and QIS exercises. Provide insights and recommendations that benefit the company during these processes.
- Enhance Operational Efficiency: Lead the team in refining methodologies and improving tool efficiency to boost operational effectiveness.
- Support Ad-Hoc Initiatives: Assist with various ad-hoc initiatives as requested by stakeholders, including senior management, the Group office, or regulators.
- Supervise and Coach Junior Team Members: Oversee junior team members and provide ongoing coaching on actuarial, product, and insurance knowledge.
Job Requirements:
- University degree holder majoring in a numerical subject (e.g. Actuarial Science, Mathematics).
- Fellow of Society of Actuaries, or other equivalent actuarial bodies.
- Minimum of 4 years relevant working experience is required.
- Solid knowledge in financial reporting, including but not limited to HKRBC, Economic Capital, IFRS 4 or IFRS 17, Embedded Value
- Attentive to details plus strong analytical and numerical skills
- Proficiency in Prophet and stochastic modelling is an advantage
- Able to work independently and manage workload accordingly
- Good interpersonal, communication, planning & management skills
- Open, proactive and willing to challenge when necessary
