Role Overview
In this role, you'll take charge of managing projects, ensuring they're delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with stringent quality standards for the Regional Finance division within EMEA. Your responsibilities will extend to nurturing relationships with stakeholders across diverse business units, fostering collaboration, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential as you navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and facilitate effective communication channels.
As a key driver of change, you'll focus on automating processes, enhancing efficiency, mitigating risks, and establishing robust controls to optimise financial operations. Role Responsibilities
- Maintain a project list, prioritising based on resources and impact.
- Collaborate with the Technology division for efficient use of accounting platforms and software.
- Manage project delivery, adhering to TP ICAP methodology and policies.
- Track and report on issues, manage risk within projects.
- Work with finance and development teams to deliver pragmatic solutions.
- Create and manage project plans, monitor scope creep.
- Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans.
- Monitor project progress and performance, manage dependencies.
- Assist in project closure, post-implementation reporting and analysis.
- Manage project documentation, support others in finance.
- Support change governance and reporting processes.
- Coordinate corporate change qualification process for new initiatives.
- Provide project management training as needed.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Assist Finance leadership team with PMO reporting.
- Support management team with ad-hoc tasks.
- Act as an analyst to understand problems and needs.
- Collaborate with business SMEs and IT representatives.
- Translate business requirements into project deliverables.
Essential
- Proven track record of success in a similar role, with tangible achievements and outcomes that showcase your capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, enabling effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Proficiency in project management software tools, ensuring efficient project planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Extensive experience in project management roles with a demonstrated history of successful project delivery, highlighting your ability to drive projects to completion.
- Experience thriving in a fast-paced environment where priorities and scope may change rapidly, showcasing your adaptability and agility.
- Proven and demonstrable Excel and data analytical skills, with familiarity with tools such as Power BI or Alteryx considered advantageous.
- Expertise in process analysis, design, and engineering, facilitating the identification and implementation of process improvements.
- Ability to understand and translate complex business requirements into actionable plans and strategies, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
- Relevant qualification or accreditation in the field is highly desirable, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
- Desirable technical finance and regulatory exposure or knowledge, providing valuable insights into industry-specific requirements and standards.
- A self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and take initiative, requiring minimal supervision to deliver results.
- Experience working on projects related to Oracle, Concur, or OneStream is desirable, indicating your familiarity with relevant software platforms.
