1. Coordinate matrix working across all planning functions to manage capacity and monitor progress.
2. Develop policies and approaches to financial planning that align with operational priorities.
3. Engage with stakeholders on the design, build, testing, and publication of financial planning templates, tools, and reports.
4. Conduct detailed plan data analytical reviews.
5. Respond to queries and communicate national directives to relevant organizations.
6. Manage multi-disciplinary teams and adapt to changing demands effectively.
7. Utilize advanced Excel skills and applications like Power BI and Alteryx for data analysis and reporting.
Required Profile
Qualifications:
* Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent).
* Significant experience working at a senior level in finance, preferably within a public sector environment.
Skills and Experience:
* Strong understanding of financial frameworks and policies.
* Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams and deploying matrix working.
* Excellent communication skills with experience in stakeholder engagement.
* Advanced proficiency in Excel, with skills in Power BI and Alteryx for data manipulation and analysis.
* Ability to lead financial planning processes, including the design and publication of financial tools and reports.
