Job Description
This position is the lead administrative analyst at each Northern Natural Gas regional location and is responsible for compiling, tracking, analyzing, and auditing regional budgets and other financials.

This position is the lead administrative analyst at each Northern Natural Gas regional location and is responsible for compiling, tracking, analyzing, and auditing regional budgets and other financials.
Responsibilities
- Analyze data from different sources and locations to create statistical information for appropriate reporting and analyzing.
- Prepares forecasts for the regional office from data supplied by field locations. May be required to submit forecasts at the company level without review.
- Develops new and/or uses complex programs to provide management reports and/or statistics to make recommendations to management.
- Analyzes data to determine trends in O and M and capital budgets.
- Maintains O and M and capital on-going budget records to track status of each operations location throughout the year.
- Develops and implements processes required to conduct financial and administrative audits.
- Audit, analyze and troubleshoot issues with expense reports and invoices.
- Develops and implements training to field personnel on budget preparation, timekeeping, and other field administrative functions.
- Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration.
- Five or more years of related administrative analyst experience is preferred.
- Three or more years of audit work experience Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and working knowledge of Oracle financials.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
