The Financial Solutions Branch (FSB) is part of the Specialized Teams for Advice & Relationship (STAR) organization in the Investor Services Branch Network. FSB provides a high-scale dedicated relationship model responsible for serving Mass Affluent investors.

FSB is an extension of the Branch Network and serves our new and existing Mass Affluent clients to deepen engagement, build trust, and provide investment solutions and tools for today's markets. The team partners closely with a wide range of departments and partners, including the local and national branches, to ensure these clients get the most out of their relationship with Schwab.

As an Investment Consultant (IC) at Schwab, you have the opportunity to learn and grow within our Branch Network at the ground floor. The first foray into the path towards becoming a Financial Consultant (FC) at Schwab, the IC role provides the exposure and experience required to advance in this challenging space. You'll learn what it takes to build a book of business through proactive, outbound calls to existing Schwab clients, uncovering opportunities through needs-based analysis and positioning appropriate products and solutions. You'll observe our skilled FCs and learn how to deliver unparalleled value and service through collaboration and mentoring. What you have

Required Qualifications:
  • A valid and active Series 7 license (may be obtained under a 120 day condition of employment)  
  • A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license (may be obtained under a 120 day condition of employment)  
  • A valid and active Life and Health Insurance license (may be obtained under a 120 day condition of employment)  

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Ability to leverage Business development experience
  • Passion for gaining knowledge of brokerage/banking products and services
  • Openness to build strong client relationships

This role will require a Monday - Friday 5x8 schedule
