Account Manager
See Yourself In Our Team:
Our Commercial Banking division serves over 10,000 clients in the medium to large business segment across Australia, with complex financial needs between $10m-$50m and turnover up to $150m. We are committed to understanding our clients, and delivering insights and creative solutions, to drive sustainable business growth.
Do Work That Matters:
You will work closely with your assigned Relationship Executive and Analyst to support the banking needs of a portfolio of customers. You will have a high level of exposure to client support and will play a key role within the team in helping our customers with their day to day banking needs. Your passion for customer service and focus on being number one in client satisfaction will see you stand out in this role and you will also gain great insight to the credit elements of this team and the opportunity to work on highly complex transactions.
More specifically you will deal in all Know Your Customer (KYC) matters, assist with bank guarantee requests, undertake business reviews and work alongside our Deal Team in preparing credit submissions. You will coordinate documentation for funding aspects of the deals you work on, and provide transactional support to our customers. In addition to this you will draw on your relationship management ability in working with Risk, Global Markets, Transaction Banking and Asset Finance Teams. Your attention to detail will see your adherence and growth to all relevant procedures and policies and your ongoing maintenance of good portfolio hygiene. You will also have the added benefit of getting involved in service and sales framework including meetings, debriefs and other associated activities.
What we are looking for:
Ideally you will have some experience dealing with complex lending structures and/or complex organisational structures, a solid understanding of financial statements and how to analyse these, outstanding customer and commercial acumen, exposure to credit or a keen desire to develop this, knowledge of the Personal Property Securities Act and experience in documenting facilities with external lawyers. If you have a can do attitude, think proactively and a genuine willingness to learn and grow then we want to hear from you. A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or related discipline will place you in good stead for success so please apply now!
If you're already part of the Commonwealth Bank Group (including Bankwest, x15ventures), you'll need to apply through Sidekick to submit a valid application. We're keen to support you with the next step in your career.
