The Supply Chain Finance Director is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of our supply chain operations. This position will lead a team of finance professionals to ensure the financial health and efficiency of our supply chain by providing financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning. Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning and Analysis:
Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic supply chain decisions.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the supply chain.
Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
Lead the development of the annual budget for the supply chain function.
Monitor actual versus budget performance and provide variance analysis.

3. Cost Management:
Drive cost reduction initiatives across the supply chain.
Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings.

4. Risk Management:

Develop and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks.
Monitor compliance with financial policies and procedures.
5. Capital Investment:
Evaluate and approve capital expenditures related to supply chain operations.
Conduct return on investment (ROI) analysis for potential investments.
Manage the depreciation and asset tracking for supply chain assets.
6. Team Leadership and Development:
Hire, train, and develop a high-performing finance team.
Establish and maintain a culture of continuous improvement and high ethical standards.
Provide mentorship and career development opportunities for team members.
7. Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with supply chain goals.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and investors.
8. Process Improvement:
Continuously review and improve financial processes within the supply chain.
Implement technology solutions to enhance financial data accuracy and reporting.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in supply chain finance or a related role.
Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw insights. Proficiency in financial software and tools, including ERP systems.
Leadership: Proven leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and develop a team, and to make strategic decisions.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and contribute to the development of long-term supply chain financial strategies.
